Trevor Lawrence breaks freshman QB record

Clemson freshman quarterback Trevor Lawrence broke Deshaun Watson's freshman QB passing record with his 15th passing touchdown of the season against Florida State.

Lawrence threw a 58-yard touchdown haul to Amari Rodgers which was his third touchdown pass of the day, connecting on 19-of-32 passes for 246 yards so far with 14 minutes to go in the third quarter.

The freshman phenom has ten touchdowns since taking over for Kelly Bryant in the second quarter of the Georgia Tech game.

He also has five passing touchdowns of at least 50 yards, most by any ACC quarterback this season according to ESPN Stats & Info.

Update: Lawrence passed his fourth touchdown pass of the day for 68 yards and passed Watson's freshman passing yards record.
