Began my career in forestry with Holly Hill Lumber Company in August of l975. In April of l978 I took a position with Boise Cascade Corp. and worked with them for a little over eight years, until we had a company layoff in l986. Went to work for Burroughs & Collins Company of Conway, SC in l986 and worked with this company until 1989. Got laid off and started my own consulting forestry business, running this company until 1998. In 2002, I became Urban Forester for the City of Hot Springs, AR and have been here ever since. I get back to SC for at least two Clemson football games per year. My oldest son graduated from Clemson in May of 2004. My youngest son is a rising junior at Clemson now. Really wish I could find a job closer to SC, as I do not get that many opportunities to see my two sons. My oldest son was married in May of 2005, and I was able to attend his wedding.
