My family is associated with Clemson University mainly through services to the college and name recognition. I am the great Grandson of J.C. Littlejohn(Littlejohn Coliseum), and my Grandfather R.J. Littlejohn went to school with Strom Thurman back in 1924 , while his dad J.C. Littlejohn (my Great Granddad) was business adminstrator for Clemson College which also carried the Athletic Directors job. So family history is a big part of Clemson to me.
