Texas Tech wing Khavon Moore (6-7 215) announced a commitment to Clemson on Thursday.
Moore only saw action in one game due to injury last year as a freshman and was seeking a medical hardship to gain back that season. Moore was rated as high as a four-star prospect out of Westside High School in Macon, Georgia, ranked No. 39 nationally by ESPN. He cited family reasons for leaving Texas Tech to transfer. He was Texas Tech's highest-rated signee ever and picked the Red Raiders over Texas A&M, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, Providence, UCLA and USC. Moore is a second recent transfer addition with multiple seasons of eligibility left, joining rising sophomore guard Nick Honor (5-10 190) out of Fordham.
