Former Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson is taking another step in his comeback road this week.

Long-forecasted this offseason, Watson continued his expedited path back from a torn ACL by participating in Houston's Organized Team Activities (OTAs) Tuesday.

Watson told reporters that his knee "is doing well" and he's happy to be back working out with the team.

Before the early November injury, Watson led the NFL in passing touchdowns (19) with 1,699 passing yards and also 269 rushing yards and two more touchdowns last season. He won AFC offensive player of the month for October and was named to the All-Rookie team by NFL.com.

The Texans begin their preseason schedule at Kansas City on August 9 and open the regular season at New England on Sept. 9.
