Clemson ranked No. 2 in AP Poll, receives first-place votes |
Clemson stays at No. 2 in the
latest Top 25 rankings by the Associated Press on Tuesday afternoon. The top five was Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State, and Wisconsin.
Florida State and Texas dropped out of the rankings while the biggest mover was LSU that jumped nine spots to No. 15 while Miami fell 13 spots to the No. 21 ranking. Clemson's schedule has a Top 25 opponent in rival South Carolina (24) while upcoming opponent Texas A&M received votes garnering them No. 29. Clemson started last season ranked No. 5 in the AP Poll and finished No. 4, after taking a No. 1 ranking into the College Football Playoff.
