Clemson moves spot in new-look AP Top 10

by - Staff Writer -

Clemson moved up after a week off where four Associated Press top-10 teams and eight top-25 teams total were upset.

The only team ahead of Clemson to lose went down hard - Georgia taking a 20-point loss at LSU, slotting the ACC Tigers up to No. 3 in the AP poll Sunday.

The new AP top-10 is Alabama then Ohio State, Clemson, Notre Dame, LSU, Michigan, Texas, Georgia, Oklahoma and UCF.

The Tigers (6-0, 3-0 ACC) return to action at 3:30 p.m. Saturday versus also-undefeated and No. 16 NC State (5-0, 2-0) in Memorial Stadium (ESPN).
