Interesting. But the last 10 years 60% made to 8. I think it's just more telling of the times. Now that players transfer 3 times to different teams.

Mens bball used to be more in tune with women's bball. Most higher seeds won. So, imo, it has more to do with the freedom of the transfer portal. You can build instant teams.
