Thanks skeeta56. Thought maybe you saw my post from your other thread saying, quick, get a snapshot of our men sitting atop that leaderboard. Looked pretty grim when they started and briefly was last place.
What is it with our golfers, ametuer and pros with this weather thing. 2 weeks ago it was Jacob and crew battling 40mph winds.
Hoping they can squeeze a few more holes in late today. I know they hated putting the sticks up and heading to the clubhouse when they were firing on every hole.
Appreciate the post and snapshot!!!

on the other thread after I posted this one. Things have been hectic around here today, but I’m getting into the swing of things . . . Finally!!!
Let us know if Our Gals post anything FUN on their Instagrams while they are in California!!!
I was impressed with Calahan Keever’s showing in Statesboro . . . especially after starting his bid at +9 after Day 1!!!!!!!
For the past couple of years, Our Starting 5 on the Men’s Team has made enough birdied to place in the Top 1/3 of any field . . . but the horrendous holes have buried Our efforts. Hoping we’ve matured in our course management tactics and sharpened our ball striking to the point that most of those “bad” holes can be avoided. That alone will make us competitive again.
Sorry about the scattered thoughts . . . but that’s where I am nowadays . . .

Yeah I will. They've been really silent. Probably because of the way they played. Annabelle's mom was out there. As she said (except for this week, go figure) said the first team they played sjsu are really good and get to play that course year round because the weather is so nice.
I was mighty impressed with Calahan. With an Opening round of par, he'd have been vying for the tournament. Kinda hoping he sticks around for his extra year. It was tough conditions the last day and he managed a 70. Anytime you shoot a 65, you can play some golf. Hopefully he'll get a chance in our rotation.
You nailed it on your synopsis of our team last year and this fall. Just limit the blue double bogey holes and find a way to grind out a bogey on them, we'd score really good. Don't follow a bad shot trying to pull off the miracle low percentage shot.
Hopefully Annabelle news was fun enough, right skeeta56... 😆

Looks like a pretty nasty storm sitting over the low country ...... not moving very fast. Hopefully, we can get some more golf in today and the Tigers can keep up the good scoring.
