If you’re a portal and NIL fan, good for you. It sux. Hope I don’t see the day Dabo poaches other teams best players. It’s wrong.

of their transfers DEs because they saw him play for Albany State against Syracuse, in preparing for a match up against Syracuse. So some of these players are being told a certain school will take them if they transfer. FSU poached Jaheim Bell away from the gamecocks with an NIL deal. USC Trojans were able able to poach Jordan Addison away Pittsburgh with an NIL. There were teams trying to poach Drake Maye away from UNC with 10 mil NIL deals.

Also, the tampering is a problem but it's going to be impossible to stop with the current rules and setup.

Yeah it’s poaching. They announce they’re leaving with no school waiting in the wings. Sure. Mack Brown spoke of high profile schools who illegally reached out to his quarterback. I believe him. He just didn’t wallow in the mud of naming them. The potential for cheating is undeniable.

FSU tampers which is cheating. The portal is the mechanism that makes it appear ok. So yesterday , Clemson lost to a team loaded with players that FSU illegally obtained. FSU did not poach the players because they had already paid for them. They are also starting to illegally pay players in high school.
Dabo is not going to cheat. He tried to legally obtain an offensive lineman out of the portal. The lineman went elsewhere. I believe it was to Michigan.

I used to watch games all day. I'll continue following Clemson and supporting Clemson, but my overall interest level just isn't there anymore.
And its not only that, but every offense looks the same now. Shotgun 3 or 4 wides. Its more like basketball now. I don't like the modern game.

It's tampering to try to convince someone they should leave their current program and come to yours. Not all transfers are tampered. Some had a coaching change, or a family change, or made a mistake when picking a school as a 17 year old.
There's nothing wrong with accepting a transfer if you didn't tamper. Not all transfers are bad, nor are all the kids transferring bad people.
