Would you be ok with Clemson saving the ACC by staying...

If all of the ACC schools that voted for the extra probation in the 80's issued public apologies and repaid us for all lost income we endured, adjusted for inflation, with interest? I still don't think this would be enough, but it would be a nice gesture that would give us a little more to think about.

At the end end of the day, it doesn't matter what the ACC does from a partnership standpoint or adding schools to the league. Any new TV deal that is negotiated as a result, will still pale in comparison to the SEC and the Big10.
It's long past time for Clemson to start looking-out for its own best interests. The ACC leadership certainly hasn't been doing it.

Yet another reminder..

The ACC has been earning significantly less money than the B1G and SEC for decades. Regardless, we do make top 25 type revenue and obviously we make more than enough money to be on top of the college football world.
Money is nice and I agree the ACC will need to make a move in the event the NFL model doesn't take hold. It wouldn't be best to not advance league revenue at all, but then too, money is not an issue for us. More importantly to note, money does not make programs play better football. We've been better than all but one B1G and SEC teams, and that's been with significantly less revenue. More money won't make the other programs any better than they are now.
Most importantly, if the NFL model doesn't come to fruition then the ACC will need to expand and ensure a seat at the table. More money would come along with that, and has been shown, we will make enough. The deficit with all those other programs hasn't done a thing to hurt us.

Swofford for theft by deceit, Fraud, impersonating an executive, and buggery of a TV negotiation. AND, while we are settling old scores, I would need to be able to punch Bobby Sura in the face.

But I would have a few more conditions to add
We would need to dig up Dean Smith and force it to shake Rick Barnes' hand and issue an apology. UNC would need to change its School Colors to yellow and red Dave Doren, as well as all subsequent NC State Head football coaches, would have to give 1/2 of his/ their salary to finance upgrades at Death Valley All Clemson road games will be played in the Valley anyway. Duke must be stripped of every single win under Mike Krzyzewski ACC Bball Refs would have to wear horizontal stripes.

way possible, on the way out of the conference. And I want that way out to be NOW, not later. The ACC should have all the crap they have shoveled our way over the years returned to them in a blimp sized dump truck, and dropped directly on Swofford's house.
Other than that, I don't really care one way or the other.

My take is more financially pragmatic. Just stroke a check to Clemson for all the nationally televised games and post-season distributions over the past ten years with interest. Compensate Clemson for the even split to ACC teams who do not even attempt to compete on the football field - the entire balance of the conference.
