Knoxville, Tenn. – Clemson women’s golf returns to the course on Sunday, opening play in the 2023 Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship, hosted by the University of Tennessee. This year’s tournament is held at the 5,965-yard, par-71 Cherokee Country Club.

Ole Miss holds the highest Golfweek ranking of all the participating teams at No. 8, followed by the Tigers at No. 10. Pepperdine is 26th, Maryland 39th and Louisville 46th to round out the ranked participants. Joining these five teams are UCF, Maryland, NC State, Kent State, Chattanooga, ETSU, Wisconsin, Kansas State, Kansas, and tournament-host Tennessee.

Chloe Holder holds the top spot for the Tigers heading into the weekend, after a top-10 finish at the Blessings Collegiate. Sydney Roberts, who finished 12th at the Blessings, Isabella Rawl, Annabelle Pancake, and Melena Barrientos round out the Tigers lineup. Barrientos is making her first appearance for the Tigers this season. Katherine Schuster will also participate as an individual.

The Tigers will be without senior Savannah Grewal as she participates in Stage II of LPGA Q-School.

Clemson tees off on Sunday morning for round one beginning at 9:30 a.m. and is paid with Ole Miss and Tennessee. Schuster will tee off at 11:25 a.m.
