while knowing said team has NO chance at a title? Not some chance, not a slim chance, not a "so you're tellin' me there's a chance!" chance. NO possible chance.

Talk about making it easy for the SEC to win another title. That'd certainly be the quickest way to do it.

Michigan- undefeated conf. champ
Washington- undefeated conf. champ
FSU- undefeated conf. champ
Texas- 1 loss conf. champ that beat the other 1 loss conf champ
Bama- 1 loss conf. champ that lost to the other 1 loss conf. champ
UGA- 1 loss non champ
