Why does 24/7 still use the term "commits" for FSU, OSU or UGa?

These mercenary athletes @ FSU, UGa and OSU are not committed to anything other than a paycheck or a bribe. And, why use the term "scholarships" as that pathway to a brighter future is obviously not even used. These mercenaries are in reality simply young paid professional athletes. So, why not allow the colleges, which are so inclined to use them, to simply hire ex professional players like the lamecocks hired in 1915. They brought in "ringers" who were not "students" in any sort of the word and were simply paid for their performances. In the end, these universities are just paying them anyway for the entertainment of their fans.

These schools should announce they are issuing Just Visiting cards plus UGA gives out a Get Out Of Jail Free card and FSU gives Free Crab Legs cards!

The NCAA, ESPN and others, most of schools want the graduates, alumni and the brain dead host of fans to think these are student athletes in the tradition of college football...can you imagine the quality of education at a university if just half the money spent on college athletics were spent on honest academic pursuit...as David Hood wrote most of these don't give a rats a** about the school or academics...learning is a 4 letter word not held in high esteem which they do not respect...fanatics and the servants at ESPN are the creators of this mess! FsU would not think of suing their master!
