Why Clemson has to leave the ACC

In 2021 there were 72 college football games with 3 million or more viewers . 32 of those games included a Big Ten team. 31 included a SEC team. The rest of college football had 9. These networks aren’t stupid .

So did the Clemson vs Georgia game count as an SEC game or as a "rest of college football" game?

They are taking the conference games of which the said conference controls .these are home games . We need to separate non- conference games from the debate . You don’t control the tv rights to those when you are the away team . When they negotiate for 5-15 year deals the networks are not relying on you scheduling Georgia in 2032.
