College football is an industry consolidating. Once the money replaced an education the die was cast. But football isn't basketball or baseball. Football careers are short. Where ever money takes college football the human debris will begin to accumulate as the uneducated, destitute former player learn the hard way that an education is not only worth million no one can steal it. College football may have to break down before it can be repaired. Until it is proven that players were not being exploited there will be no convincing the ignorant. The unintended consequences will have to inflict some serious pain I'm afraid.
