Boston College is real real bad. They don't give tennis scholarships so they are always horrendous. Probably the worst team we play all year. Even worse than Wofford, Gardner Webb and SC State

What the heck happened to our program?

I'll be honest, I don't keep regular tabs on it, but I always thought we were a moderate performer with occasional good runs. Of course we had really good programs in the 80s and 90s. Is it a facilities issue? Coaching? I know the ACC runs deep, but the program's had a good tradition before.

I think they made the NCAAs last year, but don't recall if they did in the previous two or three years. Seems like the program hasn't been able to have a sustained level of success during the last decade.

They did manage to win 4-3 over BC which appears to be one of the weakest ACC teams.

but they did make the NCA tournament 2nd round in 2013 and 2014. Both times being a tight 4-3 loss away from the sweet 16.

McCuen has now been in charge for 8 years and will miss the NCAAs this year which means he will have only made the NCAA tournament 2 times in 8 years.

The program has not advanced to the sweet 16 or better since 2004 when we made the elite 8.
