What is yalls opinion on where we should go

from here with special teams? Was it just a down year or so we see some recurring issues?

Also, I know we just lost to a great team tonight, but are big plays not plaguing us this year? Busted coverages reminds me a little too much of the Steele era. Maybe we're just young back there...

Proud of our guys tonight though...they played with some serious heart.

Losing Alexander really hurt. Our remaining DB's are very young and it showed. Safeties need some improvement, but work hard. Remember, we lost our punter to NFL (who loses a punter to the NFL) and kicker to stupidity. A blip, not a trend.

With Alexander leaving, I sure hope Tankersley is coming back. We need him bad. Also need to coach up the rest of the secondary, especially #15. Letting that bama tight end run uncovered time after time is what cost us the game, just as much as special team failures.

We have the talent and more coming in - just gotta coach 'em up. Venables will get it done.

have got some outstanding run stuffing lb's, but we give up coverage skills in exchange for the run stuffing. i wish for a happy medium. (ala steward)

Actually that was on Green (safety) both times. Not the backers fault at all.
