What is the rush to get Watson back as long as we can win?

Meaning, shouldn't Cole play the entire game against WF unless we should somehow get behind. Also, against GT. If anything, let the ##### think they will be facing Cole Stoudt and bring out Watson after the first couple of series. Why risk it?

Atlanta and being on the edge of your seat OR not seeing DW play against the Coots and REALLY being on the edge of your seat because he re-injured his finger playing too early against WF or GT?

front 7 on defense may all get acl's with the chop blocking - but QB will be fine.

I just don't understand how any of u think Clemson could beat gt without Watson. What gives y'all that idea? Yes, our d is awesome, but gt will score some points. Its just hilarious listening to people say we would handle gt easily with stoudt.

I don't think we beat GT if Stoudt is still QB for this game.

ideally you 'd like to give him an opportunity to face some live bullets against a marginal opponent before just rolling him out there against the two biggest opponents remaining on the schedule.

in April so at least he had five months to heal and rehab before the UGa game rather than just a few weeks to heal and rehab a broken finger (on his throwing hand).

BC we wont beat GT or USCjr with this offense IMO... and I don't think we need him for Wake but would be good to get him in a game situation to get ready for GT

Did you not watch the Louisville game? How about Boston College?
Those games both, could had easily been loses. Now, I don't put that ALL on Stoudt. But its easy to see we're a different team without Watson.
Yea, I know there hasn't been a running game- which would really help. And in fact, IMO..the OL has really underachieved. But..we need Watson back.
Ok,not too soon right? #21

I agree..Cole Should be able to handle Wake & GT.
Heck, we could probably beat Wake if we punted on first down all night and relied on our defense to score a couple TD's for us.
GT might be a little tougher, but again I think Cole can handle them with no problem.
We should just hold Watson out until Georgia St to make certain he's fully healed...Let him play a couple series to work the rust off and put him back in the stable to rest for SC.

I hate to think we have all of our hopes of beating the gamecocks on a true freshmen who has played less than 3 games at the NCAA level.

that is what is causing people TO worry. dabo is known and has a track record that is really bad about rushing kids back from injury. would not be a good thing with Watson!
