is watching Coot fans do mental gymnastics to convince themselves that the SEC doesn’t want Clemson. They are so scared of what will happen if we are admitted. They are like the phony architect in the movie “Something About Mary” and have been hobbling around on those SEC crutches for 30 years. We get in and those crutches get kicked to the curb. Any of the few advantages they had over us because of their conference affiliation are immediately gone and Clemson is elevated to a whole new stratosphere. These coots are whistling past the graveyard and they know it. Lots of bravado coming from these cluckers but they know in their hearts and chicken size brains what happens if we join the SEC and it scares the #### out of them, as it rightfully should.

to see the likes of Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, etc. etc. playing football in Death Valley each fall (as well as in other sports) is fooling themselves.

Allowing that type of scenario right in their own backyard would be a blunder of epic proportions. Think recruiting advantages, and you see the key.

Nope but it's funny as crap watching them being so insistent that the SEC doesn't want us and knowing that the one thing they think they hold over us could soon be kicked to the curb. Any true Clemson fan should take immense pleasure in watching them squirm and what it would do to them if we join their beloved conference which is the only thing they have going for them.

Moved to Blythewood from Maryland 4 years ago. Used to attend the Clemson game viewings at the Inner Harbor. I'm pretty sure we viewed together and maybe we both went to MSj. At any rate, I get to see see the level of USC fans on a regular basis. Totally different people from Clemson fans. There are a lot of Tigers in my community and we always talk. As far as "campus", who wants to spend their time dodging SC drivers walking to classes. And the sports facilities are all over - can't walk to them from campus. I remember when USC was part of ACC. Can't remember exactly why they left, but always had the feeling they were having hard time competing with Clemson for locals - except for basketball. SO if Clemson goes to SEC, then the one advantage they have is gone. Actually even if Clemson goes to B1G USC loses that advantage. Personally, it would be interesting to see Clem and FSU start another conference, maybe with Fox Sports.
