We are the ONLY long-time ACC member never to win the ACCT

We joined in 1953 and have never won the tourney, and only played in the ACCCG twice - 1962 & 2008.
Of all the others who have never won, BC is the "oldest", entering the league in 2005. The others are Cuse (13), Pitt (13) and the Ville (14) and, of course, next year's new members, Cal, Stan and SMU.
Want a little more salt in the wound? USuC even won the ACCT back in '71 - their last year in the conference. The Dirtpeckers have more ACC titles than we do, and they entered the league the same year we did, in 53, but were only in for 18 seasons! We've been in for 70!!
70 opportunities to win the ACCT. Only twice in the finals (.029%). (math is off by one due to the COVID season)
Come on, Neff. Let's do better!

We are 23-70 after last night. To add another sad stat to your list, South Carolina has 13 wins in the ACCT and haven't been in the league for 52 years.

Finding the right coach is always a crap-shoot. Football hit the motherlode with Dabo, but all of our other sports are at the very least pretty consistently Top 20 - with the exception of MBB and WBB. Everything else is very competitive because we made the investment in leadership.
Time to do the same with MBB. Looks like we're heading that direction with WBB, so we'll see.

Since Brownell took over at Clemson, the following teams have won the ACCT:
Duke (more than once)
Florida State
Miami
Virginia (more than once)
Notre Dame
North Carolina
Georgia Tech
Virginia Tech
Clemson has never played for ACCT title under Brownell (did once under Purnell). Clemson has never won more than one ACCT game in any given year under Brownell. Clemson has gone one-and-done 8(?) times now in ACCT under Brownell.
Georgia Tech won it in Josh Pastner's 5th year, and he has since been fired.
Virginia Tech won it under Mike Young's third year as HC.
Duke most recently won it under first-year HC Jon Scheyer.
Notre Dame won the ACCT in their second year in the ACC.

and we never have been able to get the recruits that Dook, UNC, and other get
