I know they played close to the stadium. But they didn’t have a big time opponent and they didn’t have a great year but their fans filled up that stadium. Because they love the Hokies. That is all.

It’s amazing how quickly a fanbase can change their perspective and excitement when performance changes.

Clemson fans were psyched for Tommy Bowden’s first bowl game after a 6-5 year back in the day
