Outgoing Players (11)
EDGE/LB Donovan Westmoreland: After playing in seven total games primarily on special teams in his true freshman campaign, Donovan played in only two games this Fall.

QB Tanner Bailey: Bailey was a four-star quarterback who signed as part of the Gamecocks' 2022 class. He never appeared in any games in his two seasons in Columbia.

QB Colten Gauthier: Gauthier played against Eastern Illinois as a true freshman back in 2021, and against Furman back in week three of the 2023 season, completing two passes for 34 yards in his Gamecock Career.

WR Antwane Wells Jr.: A First-team All-SEC selection after the 2022 season, Wells recorded 71 receptions for 965 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in 16 appearances in Columbia.

PK Mitch Jeter: A recordholder at South Carolina, Jeter made 23 of his 25 field goal attempts, or 85.7 percent over the past two seasons as the Gamecocks' starting placekicker.

WR Landon Samson: A reserve wide receiver for the past two seasons, Samson appeared in the Gator Bowl against Notre Dame back in 2022.

DT Felix Hixon: Was a part of South Carolina's 2022 recruiting class. Did not appear in any games during his time in Columbia.

WR Kylic Horton: Was a part of South Carolina's 2022 recruiting class. Did not appear in any games during his time in Columbia.

DL D'Andre Martin: Appeared in four games during his two years in Columbia, and recorded a tackle against Vanderbilt this season.

WR O'Mega Blake: After catching just one pass for one yard in his first two seasons, Blake became a bigger part of the rotation in 2023, racking up 19 catches for 250 yards and two touchdowns.

WR/H-Back Zavier Short: Rated the 71st best athlete in the 2022 recruiting cycle by On3's Industry Rankings, Short appeared in one game this past season according to his player bio, but didn't log any statistics.

Other than Juice, why are they so bent? They aren't losing much production. Yeah, maybe some depth but if they haven't played and aren't going to play, why are the fans losing their minds? Beamer has no philosophical problem pulling in portal players. He may have a challenge to convince them this year but he's going to try. If he fails, he may not make it out of the spring game.
