Trump has succeeded in turning the Republican Party into the mirror image of the Democrat Party. Everything we, as Republicans, hated about the Democratic party, the Republican Party has become under his “leadership”:
• Exclusive (“They can come along for the ride, but they gotta sit in the back” - Obama)
• Extreme side of issues – no tolerance for the middle ground; any remotely moderate member is ostracized, if not forced out
• Juvenile/Petty personal put-downs and insults rather than addressing issues
• Above the law
• Trying to control and manipulate the media
• Represent the people? Nah! Control the party, then control the government, and no dissent will be tolerated or accepted! No quarter!
Instead of trying to be better than the Democrats, Trump has lowered the GOP to the same gutter that the Democrats have lived in the last few decades.
Yep. That’s progress. Kinda like when your cold turns into pneumonia. Long live the king! The king looks out for the people as long as the people love and serve the king!

The fact that he will be the GOP candidate for President and actually has a decent chance to be elected come November.
After 2 impeachments,January 6th, losing a case for sexual assault and defamation, along with 91 counts pending, he is still standing.
I don’t want him or Joe, but Trump is a resilient dude.

Do not agree on 1-2 or 4-6.
But on No. 3, I honestly do not know a democrat equal to and certainly not worse than Trump on the personal put-downs. Tiring to say the least. IMO if he just cleaned up his act in this area between now and election time he wins easily. Otherwise, Trump voters will be talking about how he shot himself in the foot again with his big mouth.
