It’s obvious that no one wants to be the one replacing Saban because those are some big footsteps to fill.

If Dabo goes to Bama I’d bet he takes quite a few coordinators/position coaches with him.

I get your reservation. I have it too. Chadwell has won where he’s been and I believe he would continue the culture of the program Dabo has built. But who could we pull in from big time college football…to the floundering ACC? I’d rather have Missouri coach but I don’t think even and up-and-comer in the B1G or SEC is coming? Maybe I’m wrong. I’d rather have Chadwell over a coordinator who has never been a head coach.

If for some reason Dabo ever leaves Clemson, I hope whoever the AD is, realizes that you can hire a coach from somewhere else.
Tigernet does not understand this. Although it may have to be that way until Clemson is out of the ACC. What big time coach would go to a school that isn’t SEC or BIG?

Clemson can hire a coach that will go 9-4 for about a quarter of what Dabo makes.
