Every way to early prediction has been getting funnier and funnier every preseason for the past 10 years, they act as if they are being guided by the Coot U fan base!!!

Neither Schlabach (didn't know he was still alive) or USA Today, knows our roster very well. Schlabach mentions losing Shipley, but no mention of Mafah. Then he mentions Collins, without the knowledge that he never played a full season. USA Today mentions Jarvis Green, but no Mafah. This is just two examples of why I stopped reading preseason publications several years ago.
These people have a full time job of covering college football so there's absolutely no reason they shouldn't know these things.

Nope. He reached his ceiling his freshman year and couldn't stay on the field. If he came back he would just take snaps away from more talented players (including Wesco and Moore).

wow.. thats ridiculous. So the ACC favorite/champ is only at 11 in the eyes of

this publication? 11th? IF thats the case then an ACC conference championship is worth about as much as a MAC champion. If you win the conference (at worst probably have 1 or 2 losses) you'll at least be at 5th or 6th. We had 4 losses this year and still finished 20th.

Yep. Been saying exactly that for awhile.
12-team playoff will look like this for the foreseeable future...
ACC champion SEC champion B1G champion B12 champion G5 highest-ranked champion (AAC, CUSA...)
SEC championship loser Ohio State or Michigan, whichever didn't win B1G
SEC team SEC team SEC team B1G team Notre Dame, unless they suck that year, which leaves room for "at large", which is probably not from the ACC

After dropping game one to Georgia, I think we’ll go 10-1 the rest of the season, possibly win the ACC, and be in the playoff

Whatever the poll, looks like slim pickings to be picked

in top 12 going to CFP unless an Offensive miracle happens.
Remember we lost a dual 1st stringer who was a vet ground gainer in SHiP who could run, catch & return and now we will have to train a rookie for 2nd string duties.
Gonna be another growing season and slim possibilities we make top 12 cut-off, imho.

We are going to win every game by 21 minimum, bc this off season, everyone will eat their Wheaties and be super ready after breaking the glass ceiling they created for themselves.
Or maybe not... A fella can dream! Like when I was on the way to the Gator Bowl, it will be awesome no matter the outcome. That's my new outlook! Go Tigers.

Who is the brightest star on the offense returning but mentions Jarvis Green as our RB. Very odd for Mark. Then not a word abt Carter returning either. Someone doesn't and hasn't watched a single Clemson game this season!
