We certainly have a championship caliber defense.
However, the jury is still out on the offense.
We will need a little luck to give it a run
But all championship teams will tell you that's part of the formula.

Don't sell our offense this coming season short, Cade hasn't had the caliber of tools to work with that he will have going into this coming season. Just about any QB can look good with the receiving game and the running game that our Tigers will enter this coming season with. If Cade Klubnik is the QB we thought, he would be during his recruitment, this coming season will be the perfect time for him to show what he can do!!!

If Clemson makes it it'll be because the offense took a big step forward and that is what we all are hoping for. Cleaning up the turnovers, especially critical RZ ones, and Klub settling into his role and putting his God given talent on full display and not panicking. Go Tigers!!

Can Cade Klubnik step up and be the QB this team needs. Can he consistently make good decisions and throw accurate balls that give our receivers a chance to make plays after the catch. Can this OL get enough push and open up holes for an effective run game?

It currently appears that the Vegas odds makers don't share Coach Swinney's assessment.
Being a 12 - 13 point underdog to UGA is an insult and gives the impression this team is not looked at as a serious contender for a championship. As I've previously stated, No more talking...the singular focus should be beating UGA in the Dome on August 31st and sending a message to all college football that Clemson is coming back to take its place on the throne.

The past few years show this as a strong estimate to the outcome. This team needs to prove them wrong. If I were a betting man, I'd say UGA is a 10-14 point favorite. It's a home game for UGA, they've played well in this venue and it will take a lot to beat them!

making the playoffs isn’t the accomplishment it used to be. Indicative of a good season for sure, but we don’t need to watch the 12th ranked team waste everyone’s time getting beat down.

I tend to believe that we can compete for the playoffs. But I just don't see us finishing better than 10-2. I'm not sure that will be good enough for us to make the playoffs.

Yes it would. The top 5 conference champions get automatic bids. 10-2 would easily accomplish that, especially if one of the losses happens to be vs. Georgia.

Daniel has done it again, a walk-on kid that killed it during the spring game, so look out if Cade gets hurt, we might take a step up with a kid that has a chip on his shoulder!
Hopefully this I’d Cade’s year to shine but should he falter we are in a great position with our backup against UGA!
