It's the little things ... like knowing ECU is in NORTH Carolina, not South Carolina.

Growing up in my house, ECU was always referred to as ECTC (East Carolina Teachers College) and pronounced Easy Teasy. I took a recruiting trip to Easy Teasy as a high school senior in the spring of 81. Even as a 17 yr old, I knew by Sunday afternoon while driving home, that I should not go to East Teasy because there was a risk that I would become an alcoholic if I went there. We had fun, but I have never regretted that decision.

That’s funny, I got the same feeling touring college of Charleston. I figured instead of a degree I was going to end up a bartender, Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but I had different goals.

ESPN - Entertainment and Sports Programming Network……now that’s not a complete lie, but it’s not the truth either.

The truth is they should be called; Entertainment and Sports Programming Marketing. ESPM
ESPM sells the things they’ve invested in and they’ll lie in order to sell it. Are they a Network? Yes. But what they really are is a Marketing Company.
