The reason for the bad camera quality is because of the softball and gymnastics meets are also today. I guess softball gets the priority over baseball now even though baseball brings in more money.

And he was there the day ground was broken on the new softball complex.
"One of the best days of my life", he was quoted as saying.

Does softball have more camera angles than baseball? Or does each sport just get one angle? I am at work and can't stream from here so I am just tuned in on the radio.

softball has never had the "poverty setup" every game they play you would think it was the super bowl with the ammount of angles they get.

I'm sorry but who the hell watches gymnastics on TV when there is baseball and softball? Ridiculous!

The gymnastics game isn’t even until this evening. To me it feels like laziness that they can’t bring the cameras over after the baseball game.

Yes baseball probably has way more stream and TV viewers but I wouldn’t take the “nobody cares about gymnastics” approach

If it is true that Clemson University has opted to give more production to softball and gymnastics than the baseball program it is a STUPID decision ....but to be expected when you are pandering to "modern audiences"

Stay in the ACC if they are only going to focus on covering non revenue sports.

What a STUPID comment!! How many years has Clemson baseball existed and how few years has softball existed. Hoping you never have a daughter because she would be unworthy of anything other than broom and mop. Sad little person!!!!!

no one said they were unworthy, but baseball has gotten the shaft every single time there has been multiple games on campus. why cant softball get the crappy broadcast for once? And I believe Title IX has given women PLENTY of opportunities, and most of them are money pits. Sorry, it just is what it is.

At most schools, baseball loses the most money out of all sports

I would be surprised if baseball made money at Clemson. It only does at a very select few schools like LSU, Arkansas and SC barely

There are only so many available. Same for cameras, too, I'd imagine. Just a logistics thing.

because no one seems to want to answer it, but why is it always baseball that get the poor camera setup? why does softball, and gymnastics always get top tier camera work?

If it's just lack of camera OPERATORS, they could put some smart students on

them, even if they have never operated a camera before. ANY feed they get in addition would be better than the NOTHINGburger we are watching now!
And, they ought to zoom in the one camera they DO have to get closer to the field, you can't really make much out of what we are seeing now. Reminds me of trying to watch a high noon game in the Roach with the old artificial turf blinding everybody.
