they'll think long and hard about whether it's really important to try to publicly upstage an opponent.

Rode in a car with a cousin of Eugene Robinson, former Panthers' announcer, yesterday. Man is committed to Youth Sports and helping kids. Was asked by some local "youth" to give a statement on the affair. He said, "No thanks, but I will tell you how I feel off the record". That's what he told them: that it was entirely sad that the two young "ladies" were more interested in getting in a slight to an opponent than to celebrate the teammates who had gotten them so far. The Youth walked off completely astonished, as if they had never heard of sportsmanship before. Told the man to call me anytime he or his company needed volunteer help.

The Youth are our tomorrow, and the punk-ass Media is stealing their futures teaching them strategies that don't work for all.

1. Clark asked for the problem by flashing the sign first to the UofSuC player. There's no call for that: public displays of arrogance and disrespect have no place in Sports, and yes, I am less bothered by actual physical retribution than I am by the disrespect itself. Indeed, if a person is both respected and also shows respect, they have nothing to worry about violence or discrimination, at all.

Still, Clark effectively asked for some rebuttal, she was in the wrong, and she should have apologized. A player of her calibre should never, ever commit such petty actions.

2. Reese went way too far. She followed Clark around while Clark simply flashed the sign. Reese's actions were over the top, and should have been treated as such by everyone, the Media included.

Reese being feted by the National Media does in fact show that Racism against whites exists and is being encouraged of young black women.

There is further statistical perspective on this. I once saw a Black man wearing a T-shirt that opined: "Vote like Black Women". This is in reference to the fact that 95% of Black Women voted for the Democratic candidate in 2016 and 2020 - that's not Obama, and yet it is 95%. This is organized; it is premeditated; it is bigoted. It is not Democracy; it is not equitable; it is indeed something for which they should be held accountable.

Both Women - Clark and Reese - should be pilloried and chastised. There is no place in our Society for these public demonstrations.
