The one mega conference for CFB we all want

Time for the NCAA to step in and take back college football. We need 2 college football leagues. One made up of the best 64 teams based on pervious seasons results and one made up of the bottom 64 teams. Each league has 8 subdivisions of 8 teams.

Schedule is you play each team in your divison. Play 3 other top 64 teams outside your division and 2 non top 64 teams.

Point system
Wins against top 64 = 5 points
Wins against non-top 64 = 3 points
Losses against top 64 = 0 points
Losses against non-top 64 = -1 point

The teams with the most points in each subdivision gets to go the 8 team playoff in the upper league. Bottom 16 teams in upper league divison will play each other in bowls games. The losers of these games will get regulated to the lower league. Top 16 teams in the lower league will play each other in bowl games. The winner of those games will take the available 8 spots in the top 64 league next season.

Poor coots! They’d be locked out of the big boy games for eternity then!

Why have points and all that nonsense? The league can just have playoffs, just like MLB and NFL.

Lose your playoff game you go home. Win your playoff game you move on.

Eat what you kill.

Again its all about money, attendance, eyeballs

With this system Not only do you expand the playoff = more Money.... BUT you make 16 basic bowls played during the week of Christmas that nobody watches crazy exciting. Can you imagine the pressure on a school to stay in the top 64! and as a additional wrinkle any team in the bottom 64 has the transfer portal closed.

This is gonna be awesome!!!

Losses against top 64 = 0 points???

The SEC will never go for this. Gotta make it at least one point so that they can still claim quality losses.
