The comparison I'm making is not just stats. I should've included both receivers played their freshman season under an OC that got fired.

He didn't join the basketball team until January and only played in 7 games. That had no effect whatsoever on his freshman or sophomore seasons.

abilities at the collegiate level and anyone who plays multiple sports at a high level you never really get to the peak of abilities at any single one until you start solely focusing on it for training, focus and such.

Not sure that I would call 10 minutes played over 7 games PLAYING college basketball. More like being a practice player who occasionally got in games. That said, what he accomplished on the court was more than I ever did so I respect that.

Pretty sure Sammy had Tajh throwing to him that freshman year, and Chad Morris drawing up the plays. Not really fair to compare anyone's freshman year to Sammy's, just sayin.

get up to that this year. 2011 was a good year. First year with Boyd behind center. Dwayne Allen also had 50 catches. First year of the 10 win run!

Nuk spent too much time focused on Basketball during the previous fall and winter so he lost out on almost an entire off season of playbook work, route running and S&C.

Williams had a QB who couldn't hit a laterally moving target with a 12ga shotgun which had a 6" barrel. DJ's short comings disrespected all our receivers.
