Not back. This is 2 weeks in a row that I have seen our safety literally run over and put on their back. Smith last week, Blanks this week and that is just something I can't stomach to the point they should be replaced. It would be different if everything else they did was at least OK but it's not. It's not all their fault, the offense definitely lost this game, and to obviously a better team (not as much better as it is looking like tonight I think, but better). The lines were dominated on both sides by FSU. The secondary apparently remembered who they are as they gave 15 yard cushions all night long. But all of the other things I think can be built on and learned from. The angles that the safeties have been taking all year long have been atrocious, but considering what happens when they take an angle that creates contact ( getting put flat on their a**) I can see why, and that is not just unacceptable it is EMBARRASSING though that sentiment isn't strong enough either. Hope this doesn't destroy this team for the rest of the year. I'll love the team again by next weekend but I'm pissed right now. End rant.
