Be vigilant, keep an eye on this hurricane, just strengthened to sustained winds of 175 mph and 918mb. I’m in Charlotte county and got a full house of family and friends from east coast staying with me. Get your last minute necessities and hunker down, God speed.

I’m on the west side of state - feeling safe - but family on east. Praying it heads out to sea!

Yeah I think we are good, I’m glad some fam and friends from the east coast came over. We can replace the material stuff not our loved ones. Be safe 1981

I left Fla to avoid it and I am in NC. Might have gone the wrong way.

Man I hope this thing doesn’t hit the Wilmington area, those folks have taken they’re fair share of horrible floods over the last 3 or 4 years. Be safe Carlsbad

Up in the panhandle, so we are dodging this one. I believe SC is still offering up the U of SC trophy case as shelter for evacuees due to all the room. Hope this helps

Yeah all us west coasters should be fine, we have had a pretty steady flow of folks coming into town, hotels are booked right for Monday and Tuesday.

Port Richey in Pasco County here. Should be fine as I live about 3 miles from the Gulf. Probably just a bunch of rain is my guess (I hope).
Rode out Charlie in 2004 in Cape Coral (Yacht Club area) as it changed course suddenly while tracking to Tampa so you never know.

The video of Elbow cay in the Bahamas was eerie. Looks like it’s midnight there. Scary stuff. Stay safe Turf2, I’m in PG. not all that far from you. Go Tigers!

I’m in the Tampa area. Getting some decent rain, but it’s looking like we’re not going to get hit much. Stay safe, y’all!

Stay safe, all. I live in Miami Beach, was prepared to board up and run up to my Mom's near Atlanta. Yesterday, we woke up and saw that the storm track shifted north and east, and decided to stay home. Good luck to any in the path.

the closer it gets w/o that little jog, the worse for FL, GA, and SC
185 mph and potentially strengthening
