Not here to support or defend Brownell. I believe he is a mediocre coach and is terrible at making second half adjustments. I do however believe in this roster.
Took a stab at projecting the final 4 games for each team in the conference. I predict we lose to Cuse and win our last 3 and that will be enough to get us the 3 seed. 3 seed match-up will be against "game 7 winner". My projections have that being once again.. Syracuse. We win that match-up and then play either North Carolina or Virginia. I believe we also win that game against North Carolina, but even with a close loss I think we still get in.

I know your take will not be popular but I think it is correct. This team is capable, they need some momentum and confidence though. We will see how it is able to play out over the next couple of weeks. We have to beat Syracuse, ND and one of the Virginia or NC State games.

We have 3 quad 4 losses.
The only way we get into the NCAA tournament is winning the ACC tournament. We will not get an at-large bid. And frankly we don’t deserve one. This is the worst ACC in history. They clearly have talent, but they’re not a good team. Good teams don’t lose to Boston College and get blown out by a truly atrocious Louisville. Louisville is one of the worst teams in the country.
Hate to break it to you, but we are not going to the NCAA tournament. It just ain’t happening.

Not here to support or defend Brownell but I believe the next game is the only one that matters which is why I am not going to take a stab at how we finish, or where we finish.
Just like football don't count on what might happen down the road till you get a green light.

I think we have to beat Syracuse and Notre Dame at home. We have a much better chance of beating Virginia than we do NC State. 3-1 would be great, but they have to playa lot better.

Including the one of the most embarrasing losses of Brad's 13 years in the last game.
Not to get into the Brownell saga, but the NCAA tourney for Clemson is over, might as well face it.
On a brighter note, looks like baseball and softball seasons are looing great so far!

PJ is plenty big enough to play inside. he's 6'10" and like 235-240.
His appears to be an issue of "want to" when it comes to defense and rebounding. I like him a lot and he's one of the most skilled post players offensively we've had...but to be his size and be so pitiful defensively and on the glass is inexcusable.

We have high highs and low lows.... That's why it is so hard to win the Final Four. You have to play consistent, great basketball over 6 games in 2 weeks.
Look what this team did to FSU and look what this team did against Louisville.
It is yet to be determined what happens. I believe this loss will fire the team up to take 3 of the last 4 and 2 or 3 in the ACC Tourney. I think BB gets this team in the NCAA tourney.
What happens next is anyone's guess. Could be a loss in a play-in game, or could be a sweet 16. We have shown we can play when we are on.... but we can also lose to anyone.
Let it play out and then evaluate where BB has taken this program at the end of the season.
At the end of the day... no one is as good... or as bad as you think they are. The truth is always somewhere in the middle.
