I hate to ask it, but we've had some great games when she's been sidelined. Definitely not saying she be benched - not at all! But they sure seem to step up their game when she's out. An odd dynamic going on.

Hope we get Val back for Duke, though. Gonna need all hands on deck for that series!

On another note, Regan has had an incredible season so far! Really proud to see her progress. She's definitely our current #1!

I have far too much respect for the team as a whole to spitball what is going on in the clubhouse - but it's something.

I trust Coach Rittman and the senior leaders on this team to face whatever it is head on and put it in the rearview mirror in time to give our best effort for the regional.

I will always hope for the best. Go Tigers!

...when she's in the lineup and/or on the mound that they lose a little focus. Expecting her to hit 1-2 homers and mow down the hitters like she's done most of her career. Awful lot of pressure on her. Maybe a little time off will help with that?

They may rely on her too much when she's in the game. It's possible they let their guard down a little.
I think from here on out they are all gonna play hard for Valerie (whether she's in the game or not).

I sure hope Valerie will play this weekend against Duke being that it will be Senior Day on Saturday and the 10 Seniors which includes Valerie will be recognized before the 1:00 game.You just know that would probably be rough on her to not play on Saturday because of Senior Day.

It could be similar to like when Cristiano Ronaldo was at Juventus. He put up great numbers there and was the best player on the team but Juventus actually did worse in the Italian league with him than they did before he arrived. Just because his presence change the dynamics of the team.

I see them picking up a player when she’s down( illness and injury). I seriously doubt that this is the season that VC thought she’d be having in February. Great job Tigers. Support your team mates! Great win last night.
