Seems like they're out there more frequently, too. Apparently every rowboat requires at least 3 jon boats to flank them, and whatever those flat bottom center console things they have plow back and forth too with loudspeakers. So while you're getting gas, they're rocking the helll out of you.
It's truly a nuisance "sport", if you can even call it a sport.

I could never understand what the guys in that weird looking center console were yelling at the canoe-ers. They always stopped yelling at them when I got close. I don't think they wanted me to hear them telling Kayleigh in the back to put her phone down and start paddling harder.

Bc they are turning tennis courts into PB courts all over the place. There already weren’t many public county parks to play tennis and now some are being made into PB or worse they are building PB courts instead of Tennis.
PB is for people who aren’t coordinated enough for Tennis. Rant over

Actually I played tennis, was pretty decent until my shoulder said no more
Pickle ball now. Singles pickleball is pretty challenging, and you have to have as much or more hand eye coordination and soft hands to be good at pickleball

Take the average person off the street and have them play pickleball 5 times and tennis 5 times.
By time number 6 they’ll be reasonably competitive at pickleball. They’ll look like a clown on the tennis court on their 6th time and be lucky to hit a 4 shot rally.

I agree that becoming "playable" is a much shorter path.
Hitting shots from the "baseline" back and forth ain't competitive. when you get into the strategy of the dink, playing balls in the kitchen, angles etc that's competitive. Maybe I am forgetting the hours I played as a youngster getting good at tennis, but pickle is much harder than it looks when played competitively.
