I think if you read the article objectively, instead of with a preconceived notion of what you think about Dabo or David, it is pretty factual. David doesn't really criticize Dabo, but points out that Dabo has been criticized, right wrong or otherwise, which is true. He doesn't take a side in that fight. He points out Dabo's view of the criticism, and that of the players and coaches, who love him but who also say he has stepped in it a few times. The bottom line is the loudest criticism comes from those with no vested interest in the program. They want Dabo to change to suit them, not the program or Clemson University. That isn't going to happen. I think the article does a good job of pointing that out if you read it objectively.

I enjoyed the article and thought it was fair. Didn't change my opinion about Dabo one bit and it's always nice to hear how his players love him. Dabo has always done things his own way and I'm hoping he and our Tigers continue to have success. Go Tigers!

An article trying to understand Dabo's methods and how unique he is in cfb. David could have done a better job writing about coaches who are similar to Dabo rather than seek every criticism he could use. Whatever. More of the same on Clemson. JMO.

Inferring his own opinions through others, and frankly bringing up things that he wants us all to remember. The article is supposed to be about the rise to the top with a down year and how will we respond (or that’s how it is presented). None of the BLM, George Floyd, Kapernick stuff has anything to do with last year. I have no issues him mentioning NIL or the transfer portal, or hiring from within and Dabo’s philosophy there, doing it “his way” those things do, could have or had an impact on the product on the field, the rest is him addressing his agenda, making sure we never forget those things.

It’s a collage of high level challenges over the the past throughout the best years in Clemson history. I think it’s complimentary given the circumstances and the success we’ve maintained throughout it.
