What did you expect from the ACC re: Tar Heel teams versus the CU Tigers? The Swofford aroma still is heavy in ACC quarters and will be until his memory as a "jerk" is eradicated. He did all he could to poison the conference agendas for the future with his pitiful ACCN/ESPN $$ arrangement and the 'member school RIGHTS ONWERSHIP AGREEMENT'.
Lest I unfairly lay it all in John Swofford's lap, one shouldn't forget the 15-school Chancellors and Presidents that reportedly signed that agreement--Jim Clements included. Their execution will cost their schools millions per institution by 2036. I hope they are sleeping well as some folks--Clemson and FSU for two ponder how to escape the penalties of losing so much income for their athletic programs. Of course, many of the signees have moved on or retired from their responsible perches.

That GOR was beyond ridiculous the very day they signed it

Looks even worse now. How they got all those schools to agree to lock in to such a ludicrously long contract in a time when the college football landscape was changing at light speed is beyond my comprehension.

If you think there is any favoritism in the ACC, just wait until if we join the SEC and see how we are treated compared to Bama, UGA, LSU, Texas, Tenn etc, etc.

The Tobacco Road arrogance was real and aimed directly at us. We are more similar to the sec schools, plus they are in our recruiting footprint.

The pecking order is in every conference; but some are better at hiding it.
The Sorry Excuse Conference
wants to push the narrative of football only being good in it's conference. Which is not true; despite the National Titles. Every team isn't good in the SEC; but because they have actually started to believe the hype machine: "if you are decent in sports, particularly football you would get backing from the top". Because, it pushes the idea of everybody is good over here.
