Realistic Observations (Week 6).....

Realistic Observations from our game and others....

1) Still confused on defense. How in the world can we give up 50+ yards on a wheel route? Don't we run the shat out of that play?

2) Offense has gone backwards. Hopkins will be good, but it will take time for him to make every play (had a couple drops). We are extremely weak at WR. Playcalling is miserable....WE NEVER THROW TO A RECEIVER THAT DOES NOT HAVE HIS BACK TO THE ENDZONE.

3) You cannot run a playaction pass and expect the tailback you play-actioned off of to be open in the flat. If you fake him the handoff, he is likely going to be covered up.

4) Ellington is our BEST back.......GIVE HIM THE $%^& ball.

5) Did we really run a reverse on the kickoff to Jamie Harper (possibly the slowest guy on the field)???? Did we also run a reverse in which Jamie Harper was going to throw downfield???? W T F ?????????

6) Defensive penalties called against us in the 4th quarter were garbage.

7) TD pass to Jaron Brown should have been intercepted. Other than this, we looked awful on offense.

8) We have been lost as an administration (AD & President) for over 30 years now. They ran Danny off, and now they have settled for mediocrity( Different poeple - same results). And go check out what Max Lennon is doing with himself nowadays. Problem is, our freezer full of mediocrity is running out, and we are flirting with just plain bad. 9) As much as I thought I would never say this, because I have been going to games since 1980......Until the administration shows me an effort to be successful at football, I am going to quit donating my finances to IPTAY. This is not a knock on the kids, who ultimately benefit from IPTAY. But I refuse to contribute to the salaries of the administration (Barker, Terry Don) any longer. Steele got a 200K per year pay raise last year and is a joke (and a jerk to boot). I like Dabo, but I have never seen a hire made when someone has soooooo little experience. Dabo has been out coached the past two weeks. Terry Don Phillips is clearly not a good decision maker. All this while they continue to collect bonuses. Financially, I am going to focus more on my family and maybe like a boat or something. We have been spinning our tires in the same mud hole for 25 years. Enough is enough.

10) We lost to a team with half its defense. What would the score have been if we were missing 5 defensive starters?

11) We very well could get 63-17'd this year.

12) Clemson football has turned into that TNT movie that comes on every year...It has commercials, its always on, its not very good, yet we watch it every time.
