Ready for Warlock to win the GA Sen seat tonight

Dec 6, 2022, 3:17 PM

The GOP has done such a lousy job this year of picking candidates. Dr Oz and Herschel Walker?? Why??? Easy - because the GOP leadership is stupid and short-sighted. They thought that the reason Trump won was because he'd never been in politics and was famous. Nope. Trump won because he had a track record of success in the business world, was skilled at negotiating, and could fund his own campaign. Dr Oz and Walker have ONE of those characteristics - famous. Oz is famous thanks to Oprah. Walker thanks to football. Neither of those has anything to do with leadership. Walker was apparently not vetted very well, if at all.

The GOP lost the Senate due to their own negligence. I say "lost" because I'm 100% certain Warlock will win tonight and lock up the Senate to the Dems (I know a Walker win is a tie, but that still complicates things at least a little for them).

Pick GOOD PEOPLE next time. Not just FAMOUS people. If you want to stereotype or generalize, then go with veterans. They're usually a good bet. A good candidate doesn't have to be a career politician, but needs to have some sort of legitimate career where they've gained success - something other than TV talk shows or football.

Ok so Oz was not a great pick. Can you explain how he was worse than the brain dead commie Fetterman? I mean if the Dems ran an all star your point about Oz would be valid. They didn’t.

Using the same logic, why do you suppose Dems chose Warnock

For what it's worth, I don't think a "conservative" picked those candidates.

Isn’t the crazy pillow guy the new RNC chair?

That guy screams intelligence and wisdom.

Yep - they blew it. The Warnock win will be huge in that it

will negate Manchin (one of the only people not in lock-step with their party - on either side).

Sinema is still in the Senate doe***

Still a huge win.

Dec 6, 2022, 5:34 PM

In addition to only needing one of the two for votes, it means that they don't have to share power on commitees. Expect to see a flood of judicial nominations if Warnock wins.

Just glad for it to be over. Warlock the vampire has been running lotsa ads on WYFF to cover NE GA.

Walker is an extremely poor candidate but I’m so glad one of Obama’s selling points on behalf of the good Rev was that Walker if elected might help the Pubs pass a federal anti abortion bill.

Since the Senate at present is 50/50, Collins and Murkowski are pro choice and Biden could veto any such bill with zero chance for an override, it would seem Obama is selling some serious BS or is woefully deficient in math.

Glad it will be over soon. Hopefully Kemp will consider sending Ossoff home in 4 years. While Walker was a very poor choice, I do not believe the politics of Warnock nor Ossoff represent the majority of Georgians.

Trump's track record wasn't very good. He won because he lied and bulllshyatted and rubes fell for his nonsense. People were also tired of liberal politicians with their woke BS not relating to the masses. That combo gave us Trump.

Do you know any of Warnock’s positions on anything? Why do you want him to win? What legislation are you looking forward to?
