I am heading over to Sears to get some new struts for my AMC Javelin, then stop at Publix for some Pringles. What about you guys?

Probably head up to the strip club a little later to get some prime rib and a few cold ones. Nice car by the way. AMC made one heck of a vehicle.

I cannot keep weekdays and weekends straight because I have not had a job in 23 years. I just know that sometimes far too many people are driving on the roads for my liking, which is why I need new struts.

Headed down to Coach's Sports Bar to have the best reuben sandwich in the galaxy with the wife, then back to watch the Houston Open which is now being held on the old Memorial Park GC where now departed friends Jimmy Demaret, Jack Burke, Dave Marr and other famous golf professionals grew up. They had one of the first female PGA Professionals there as the Head Pro back when we lived in Houston and she would let me bring a crowd of my buddies down about once a month and we would play all day, 36 holes, sometimes 54, and she would play some with us. Great old golf course that has been redone but is still a masterpiece in golf course design. Brings back a lot of memories when I see it on TV.

Heading to my dad’s with the family to eat and watch the kiddos look for eggs. Then playing referee for whichever kid didn’t find as many eggs as the others and who cheated. All while being slightly annoyed with a couple of my adult siblings who didn’t bring anything to eat but jumps in line first and fixes their plate of food before everybody else. Yay.

I’ve got the Vega Stationwagon loaded up with vintage moon pies, headed down to the fairgrounds. I think I’ll be a real threat to take the crown on the funnel cake eating contest at the end of the day

Going by Food Lion and get some ingredients for potted meat sandwiches, Vienna sausages on a toothpick, cans of Beanie Weanies, jar of pickle pigs feet, sardines served on a bed of lettuce, pickled eggs, souse meat on saltines, grilled turkey wings, and baked turkey necks. So far, no one has answered my RSVP's. People have gotten rude since Covid.

Enjoying this beautiful weather. Did a little gardening, cut the grass, smoking a ham, with some homeade macaroni pie for a little dinner with my wife and our youngest daughter. She turns 18 on May 1st and is Clemson bound this fall. Empty nesting is heading our way. I'm a little torn on that one!

I secretly hope so. Giving her (the baby and only girl) a little room to grow. At least we are close by. If she gets home suck it's only 10 minutes to her own bedroom. We have said from the beginning that the door is always open and the fridge is always full!
