Clemson has been on since the end of March after being swept by Wake, 20-4. Can't wait to see some post season play.

The players have bought into what the coaches are coaching.
The swing for the fences mentality taught by the former coaches is in the past. So good to see quality at bats again.

Maybe someone can help me - I’m really curious how the players he brought with him from Michigan are doing. Any of them standing out? Or are they too young yet? Thanks.

Yes our 2B is Riley Bertram. He’s a team captain. Is now hitting the cover off the ball. Has an average in the low .200’s for much of the season but is now up to .271. He’s elite defensively. Team leader. Smartest player on the team. Always alert. Great bunter. Very selfless player.

Unfortunately Willie Weiss hasn’t contributed for multiple reasons this season. Injury and performance

True freshmen Jack Crighton (former Mich commit) has earned the RF spot. He’s hitting the ball well now also. Didn’t start tonight only because Ingle got his day off of catcher so he started in RF.

The freshmen that started tonight was Joe Allen. He was also a mich commit. He’s done well and also struggled in moments. He has good stuff, just needs to throw strikes
