And this week, we pray for the world. Things are getting increasingly volatile in the Middle East. This situation could easily spiral into a much larger regional conflict, with the US, Russia, and China getting involved in a big way, unless cooler heads prevail. Nobody wants to see that, not even Israel.

Now, I have no doubt that if left alone, Israel could defend themselves against any foe in the Middle East. They have proven more than capable of that in the past. But, with the threat of Russia and China backing some of their opposition, the situation becomes much more dire.

I pray that a peaceful resolution of this conflict is quickly found. Because if it is not, then those End Times that people keep talking about could well be on our doorstep. In Jesus name, I pray.

Amen.

This is not a time to worry or wringe our hands. It is a time to look to Jesus and live in faith. My post is not a commentary on the post above but a statement on the times we live in according to the Bible.

As long as the good Lord allows, the routine for today will be go to Sunday school, church service and in my chair by 2:00 for another great Masters. Thanks to CBS for having the entire final round on the tube. Yes sir!
