Notre Dame does NOT want to join ANY conference in football. Keeping the ACC viable and with as many members as possibly provides a home for non-revenue sports and gives the football team a fall back scheduling option if the Big 10 and SEC threaten to stop scheduling them.

The ACC is the stay at home wife, essentially, while they go out and have fun on Friday and Saturday nights at the clubs.

It’s wrong that they can vote on new football members that impact all the other schools but not them.
