He is. And I don’t think it’s close. I’ll never forget that catch and run against uga to answer there 1 play touchdown by Todd Gurley.

I have been looking for a play Sammy made at Death Valley and I don't remember the team it was against. He was split left going towards the West End Zone on a crossing pattern. He reached up just as the ball got to him and snatched it out of the air. He didn't let the ball fall into his out stretched hands, just zip, grabbed it. I believe he scored on the play from about 40+ yds out.

Thanks! The FSU catch is the one. I had looked at the BC games because of the colors but not seen a clip of that FSU catch since!
The Auburn catch is also one to see!

assembly required" football player we ever had. At least at the skill positions. A couple of D-Linemen, like Christian Wilkins or Dexter Lawrence also did not require much in the way of polishing.

reminds me of the good old days when our receivers were coached to pluck the ball out of the air and not wait for it to hit them in the hands. We need to get back to that.
