They mount a solid attempt at a comeback…. But overall the season has been a disappointment

Yeah same here. Really glad we added softball but the early success maybe made some early expectations that were just too high.

Yeah all this talk about them getting to the women’s collegew world seies needs to stop. First they need to start beating good teams. Clemson now has something like 12 losses to Duke’s 4 losses.

Pitching was not solid tonight. A grand slam in the sixth and a three run home run in 7th put 7 runs on the board for Duke.
Ladies tried to make a comeback but too big a deficit

They are a good team, not elite but good. They seem to have fun and enjoy playing together which is good because, based on the number of seniors they have, it might get really bad next year.
