My girlfriend is a Dawg fan so we just have to forgive her for that, but she’s not an obnoxious one. Her coot friends however, fully expect South Carolina to compete for the SEC East championship, and fully expect Clemson to be a nonfactor. My response was,” so you’re completely disregarding the team that beat you 30-0 in your home stadium last year, with basically the 3rd string offense?” The response was, “we totally underestimated that Clemson team, and it won’t happen this year”
Sometimes I wish I could be as detached from reality as coot fans are. They are the gift that keeps on giving.

They still think they are as good as Clemson. All they have to brag about is the conference they play in. Think about it, they are excited about what others in their conference accomplish.

0-21 record USCe posted and had the crowds that showed up on their darkest days. You have to respect their dedication. Clemson fans would have paid for season tickets and not even watched the games. Same with Bama, AU, UGA, FU, OSU, UM and most other teams we consider blue bloods of the game.
Remember the Dollar stores and Walmart selling out of Coot gear when they finally won a game?
