No self respecting Clemson fan does the Woo Hoo chant. I believe that an opposing team did the Woo Hoo as a joke. Now, if we want to get back to tradition. The correct end of the 1234 cheer is “Fight Tigers Fight D@MNIT, Fight Fight Fight.”

In 1968, my "rat" year it was Go Tigers, Fight d@mit, Fight Fight. This refrain is etched in my brain as I had to perform it at many a meal at Harcombe, on the Quad, at pep rallies, and during panty raids at the high rises.

Two big commitments at RB for two consecutive classes.
Maybe, just maybe, C.J.’s recruiting modus operandi is to build personal relationships with target players as opposed to NIL relationships.
You know … the Clemson culture M.O. for recruiting.
True personal relationships take longer to cultivate than NIL type relationships. A key component of a true personal relationship is to not lie / deceive recruits.
For 2022 class (following Shipley’s and Mafah’s ascension to the clear 1 - 2 punch for 2022 & 2023 seasons [based on their outstanding 2021 season]), there was a limited likelihood for major PT an incoming RB signee for 2022 or 2023 seasons. Rather and BS a class of 2022 RB recruit that he would be THE man, Spiller probably told recruits that they would be given the chance to compete. Not the greatest sales pitch, but nevertheless an honorable one.
Short term, Spiller wasn’t bringing in the stars. But undoubtedly his reputation as an honest recruiter among the ocean of dirt ball SEC recruiters looks like it’s starting to blossom
(*). Aren’t we now glad that the ‘kill the Spill’ Clemson fans didn’t get their way?

They aren't afraid of contact which translates into more yardage as an RB. GAllman wasn't particularly an elite RB but the fact that he dealt out contact as much as he did making juke moves was the reason he was so valuable. Alot of critical yardage was created by Wayne Gallman based off of his toughness and willingness to fight for yardage.

I wish someone had saved all the negative posts about the Tiger recruiting and how the coaches cannot recruit. Just like to rub it in some faces.

And he still has 2 years to mature before he starts college. Already 6 ft 195 lbs, 4.43 @ 40, 10.69 @ 100, 37 in vertical, 305 bench press, and 20'7" long jump. Those are eye popping numbers for someone already enrolled.
