Swinney: What a great win, first of all. Don't like how we finished defensively. I have a great appreciation for winning, especially against this group. Just thankful for the win.

I really don’t understand why Dabo always goes after the defense when the play calling in the second half definitely didn’t do them any favors at all.

Because they gave up 14 points late in the 4th quarter. If D does their job, the offense was fine. Running the ball well, eating up clock, and making FSU use all their time outs. Just what winning teams do with a big 4th quarter lead.
I actually thought this was one of Streeter's best game plans. Had some very innovative calls that went for big plays, and was creative in getting our Rb's to the edge on short passes for consistent 5-8 yard+ gains. But I'm sure that's lost on the continuous Debbie Downers here.

But Tnet told me this was a great and dominating performance and to utter a syllable in disagreement made me a terrible fan. Perhaps Dabo isn't really a fan of Clemson football either.

Swinney: Offensively, we were very efficient. I thought DJ managed the game very well. This was a game we knew Shipley would have to be a big factor and he was.

Swinney on the reverse flea flicker: We've had that for most of the season. Just hadn't had the right opportunity yet. We were ready for it. It was perfect. Set the tone for that whole quarter.

Swinney on defensive issues late: Lost focus, busted assignments, missed tackles, passive on the screen game, just some dumb stuff. Kinda playing to the scoreboard.

Swinney on the #EllaStrong sign outside the Clemson tunnel on Saturday: A lot of class on their part. We're competitors but we're all people. Told Mike Norvell that it meant a lot. I appreciate the Florida State people being so thoughtful.
